How does custom design work?
Creating a custom dress is a fun and creative process however it does require multiple fittings to ensure a perfect design and fit. We start with a bridal appointment with Meaghan, the owner of THB where you will try on gowns in different shapes, styles and fabrics to see what suits your body best. You can bring in photos of styles you love and want to use as inspiration too. Next, we provide a quote and schedule your first fitting with Stephanie where we try on pieces and pin and clip to show you more or less what your custom dress will look like in the end. At the 3rd fitting you will be able to try on a muslin version of your dress (muslin is an inexpensive cotton fabric that we use to make a mock up of the dress) This is where you get full control of what goes where! Next is a fitting in the real thing, a couple more fittings may be required to perfect the dress.
